Gabriel Loredo this album was the reason my band was formed. When he toured the west coast a while back we couldnt see him perform together. Thankfully we saw him in our respected states, California and Portland, even gave him some of our earliest demos :) Much love and thanks for the inspiration. Favorite track: Come Saturday.

John K Saw them double bill with Surfer Blood on the day I graduated high school, so this is really nostalgic for me, which is extremely apt given the vibe of the album. A lotta indie, a little punk, a little 80s, all good shit. This record rips from beginning to end. "Young Adult Friction" always hits for me since I spent six years working shelving books at the library, too. Favorite track: Young Adult Friction.

Since forming in early 2007, The Pains of Being Pure At Heart have become one of the most talked about pop bands in years.
